No. In fact, it surprises most people when they learn that we hunt. We aren't die-hard hunters and we don't go home and sulk if the night doesn't produce anything, but we like to release the dogs and watch them answer that call that is deep inside them. We would not hesitate to place a dog in a hunting home as long as it is a permanent home To too many of today's hunters, if the dog doesn't hunt in a particular way, it is no longer welcome. We want our dogs to be pets first.
